Nun ist es wieder einmal soweit, Valentinstag steht an und wie jedes Jahr stellt sich uns die Frage: Was ist so Besonderes an diesem Tag?
Dass die Amerikaner den Valentinstag zelebrieren ist bekannt, aber wir Europäer – brauchen wir das? Wir denken schon, zumindestens der Handel ist happy!
Genügt es nur ein paar Blumen zu schenken oder muss es gleich Schmuck sein?
Natürlich lieben wir Frauen oder zumindest einige von uns Juwelen, aber muss dies ausgerechnet am Valentinstag sein?
Wir beide freuen uns über ein paar schöne Blumen oder eben nur eine Kleinigkeit. Aber das ist Ansichtssache und natürlich jedem selbst überlassen, was und wie viel er schenkt.

We all know that this day is celebrated a lot in the United States, but in Europe – do we really need it? Well, the two of us think, yes, we do – at least the market is happy about it!
So is it enough to buy just flowers or does it have to be jewelry?
Of course women enjoy jewelry, at least some of us do, but is it absolutely necessary to buy a gift this expensive just for Valentine’s?
The two of us, we prefer small gifts of just a few pretty flowers. Still, everybody’s different and you have to decide for yourself what and how much you buy.
