Vor ein paar Tagen waren die liebe Alexandra und ich für ein paar Stunden in Wien unterwegs. Unsere erste Anlaufstelle – wir hatten schon großen Hunger – war das Le Bol am Neuen Markt 14. Wir verbringen hier immer wieder gerne ein paar nette Stunden mit unseren Freunden. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl und die Küche ist großartig. Manchmal trinken wir nur eine Bol guten Kaffee oder ein Glas Wein.
Es wäre ratsam, einen Tisch zu reservieren, aber Achtung – das ist nur vor Ort möglich, telefonisch kann man das leider nicht. Wir hatten Glück und ein Tisch war frei!
Nachdem wir sehr gut gegessen haben und das Wetter ein Traum war, haben wir noch ein paar Outfit-Fotos beim Donnerbrunnen (Neuer Markt) gemacht.
A few days ago the lovely Alexandra and I were in Vienna for a couple of hours. Our first stop – we were really hungry – was Le Bol at Neuer Markt 14. We like to spend a love time here with friends every now and then. You feel comfotable here and the food is great. Sometimes we just have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
It’s always a good idea to make a reservation, but be careful – you can only do this on site, they don’t take reservations via phone. We were lucky and got a table anyway!
After some great food and since the weather was amazing we decided to take a few outfit shots at Donnerbrunnen (Neuer Markt).

Anschließend sind wir zur Verkostung der neuen Cocktails in The Bank im Park Hyatt spaziert. Wir waren schon sehr gespannt und freuten uns auf die neuen Kreationen von Bar Manager Stefan Bauer und seinen Barkeepern.
Man erwartete uns bereits und nach einer kurzen Vorstellung ging es auch schon los.
Klingende Namen wie The Analyst, Secretary, Treasurer, Broker, Consultant, Branch Manager, Bookkeeper, Bank Director, Cashier und Counselor wurden uns auf einer kreativen Karte präsentiert. Cocktails wie man sie in einer ehemaligen Bank (Länderbank) auch erwartet.
Later we headed to the tasting of the new cocktails of The Bank at Park Hyatt. We were quite excited and looking forward to the new creations of bar manager Stefan Bauer and his team.
After a quick introduction we started with the tasting.
All the cocktails had interesting names like The Analyst, Secretary, Treasurer, Broker, Consultant, Branch Manager, Bookkeeper, Bank Director, Cashier and Counselor, presented on a creative menu. Cocktails fit for a former bank.
10 Cocktails in den unterschiedlichsten Geschmacksrichtungen durften wir probieren.
- The Bank Director – ein spritzig fruchtiger Cocktail;
- The Cashier – eine Kombination aus Wermut, Blutorangensaft, Ingwer und Champagner oder
- wer Zimt mag, sollte unbedingt den Secretary probieren, ein Cocktail mit zwei verschiedenen Ebenen. Die Basis besteht aus einer fruchtig, leicht erfrischenden Mischung. Ein Zimtespuma-Topping gibt dem Ganzen einen extra Kick und macht den Cocktail wunderbar vollmundig.
- Wer es gerne scharf mag sollte unbedingt the Analyst probieren.
Hier nur einige Beispiele. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Aber am Besten Ihr überzeugt Euch selbst und besucht The Bank Brasserie & Bar im Park Hyatt und lässt Euch von Stefan Bauer einen der tollen Cocktails mixen.
We had a chance to try ten different cocktails.
- The Bank Director – a fruity cocktail;
- The Cashier – a combination of wormwood, blood orange juice, ginger and champagne or
- if you like cinnamon you should give the Secretary a try, a cocktail with two different layers. The base consists of a fruity, slightly refreshing mixture. The cinnamon-espuma topping gives the whole drink an extra kick and makes this cocktail nice and full-bodied.
- If you like it hot and spicy you should try the Analyst.
