Eigentlich wollten wir Mädels Natascha, Claudia und ich auf ein Gläschen Champagner in die Stadt fahren. Wir kennen uns von einigen Blogger-Events und sind in der Zwischenzeit auch privat gut befreundet.
Irgendwie war uns dann doch nach Shopping und wir beschlossen in das McArthurGlen Designer Outlet nach Parndorf in Niederösterreich zu fahren.
Hier findet man alles was das Shoppingherz begehrt. 160 Designermarken, die teilweise bis zu 70% verbilligt sind und auch das Kulinarische kommt nicht zu kurz.
Actually the girls Natascha, Claudia and I wanted to go to the city for a glass of Champagne. We know each other from various blogger events and have become pretty good friends.
Somehow, we felt more like going shopping though and we decided to go to McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Parndorf, Lower Austria.
Here, you’ll find everything you could possibly desire. 160 designer brands, sometimes up to 70% off, and you can have great food here too.
Wir hatten zwar bei der Anreise etwas Pech und standen eine gute Stunde im 17 km langen Stau und das auch noch bei 34 Grad auf der Flughafenautobahn. Dank Claudia’s gut klimatisiertem Auto haben wir uns trotzdem köstlich amüsiert und so verging auch die Wartezeit relativ schnell.
Leider ist das Outlet-Center an manchen Tagen sehr überlaufen und man bekommt, wenn man Pech hat, an einem Freitag Nachmittag keinen Parkplatz. Wir hatten aber großes Glück und ergatterten einen Platz direkt vor dem Haupteingang, so stand unserem Shopping Vergnügen nichts mehr im Wege.
Von einem guten Gläschen Bowle und Flammkuchen gestärkt ging es los, unsere erste Anlaufstelle: Furla! Das von Aldo Furlanetto im Jahre 1927 gegründete Familieunternehmen verkauft fantastische Lederwaren. Natascha entpuppte sich als großer Fan des italienischen Labels und wurde auch sofort fündig.
On our trip we hit a big traffic jam which cost us about an hour worth of time, and all that at about 34°C. Thanks to Claudia’s great A.C. we had a lot of fun regardless and the time went by really quickly.
Unfortunately the outlet center is packed with people on some days and, if you’re out of luck, you won’t be able to find a parking spot. We were really lucky though and found a spot right at the main entrance, which meant we were ready to shop.
After a great glass of punch and Tarte Flambee we headed out for our first stop, Furla! The business, founded by Aldo Furlanetto in 1927, sells great leather goods. Natascha is a huge fan of the Italian brand and found a nice piece right away.
Claudia fand ein paar traumhafte Schuhe von Tod’s. Wer kennt sie nicht, jeder Schuh von Spitzenqualität nach italienischer Handwerkstradition gefertigt.
Eigentlich wollte ich mir ein wunderschönes Tuch bei Gucci kaufen, habe es mir dann wieder überlegt. Heute bereue ich es und werde mir das hübsche Tuch demnächst doch noch holen.
Bei Lindt und Manner war ich aber haltlos, ich kann an Süßigkeiten einfach nicht vorbei. Zu meiner Verteidigung muss ich sagen, mein Mann hatte Geburtstag und vieles habe ich natürlich für ihn gekauft.
Claudia found a nice pair of shoes by Tod’s. Who doesn’t know the good quality shoe, made with Italian craft tradition?
I had plans to buy a beautiful scarf at Gucci, but changed my mind at the last minute. I regret this decision now, sooner or later I will have to get it after all.
I was weak at Lindt and Manner, I just could not pass by all the sweet stuff. In my defence, my husband is celebrating his birthday soon, I bought a lot of this for him, of course.
Nachdem wir unsere Shopping Tour beinahe schon beendet hatten, die Füße schmerzten auch schon ein wenig, entdeckte die liebe Claudia ein nostalgisches Riesenrad. Sie war davon so begeistert, dass wir unbedingt mit dem Rad fahren mussten. Drei Ladies und zwei Kinder, ihr könnt Euch vorstellen, wie das aussah! Aber so konnten wir nun endlich auch Parndorf von „oben“ betrachten.
Nach vier lustigen Stunden in angenehmer Gesellschaft und einer ordentlichen Shoppingausbeute ging es für Claudia, Natascha und mich wieder nach Hause, diesmal aber ohne Stau.
Danke an die liebe Claudia, die uns mit ihrem Auto nach Parndorf fuhr und dafür sorgte, dass ich meinen Zug nach Hause rechtzeitig erwischte!
After our shopping tour had almost come to an end, our feet were quite painful at that time, Claudia discovered this nostalgic big wheel. She was so excited that we had to take a ride on it. Three ladies and two children, picture that! But that way we had a chance to view Parndorf from „up above“.
After four hours of lovely company and a big shopping yield it was time for Claudia, Natascha and me to go home, this time without the traffic jam.
