Mein neuer Duft von Diptyque: Eau Moheli!

Bei unserem letzten Berlin Besuch – siehe dazu Zwei Tage in Berlin für einen ausführlichen Bericht – stand natürlich auch der Besuch eines der größten Kaufhäuser Europas auf unserem Plan. Das 1905 erbaute KaDeWe! Auf 60.000 m² kann man stundenlang shoppen – von den neuesten Laufsteg Kollektionen aus Paris bis hin zu Früchten aus der Südsee – es gibt hier fast alles!

Ganz oben auf der Einkaufsliste (Ni hat immer eine, Al nie) stand natürlich die Beautyabteilung und da ganz besonders Diptyque. Ich wollte meinen Vorrat an Eau de Toilettes auffrischen. Da ich von Diptyque schon einige Produkte habe, darunter die tollen Duftkerzen (wie etwa die Rosafolia-Kerze) und eine der besten Handcremen, war es an der Zeit einmal etwas Anderes zu probieren.

During our last visit in Berlin – for a more detailed review, check out Zwei Tage in Berlin – there was no way around one of the biggest shopping malls in all of Europe! Built in 1905, it’s the „KaDeWe“! About 60.000 square meters of pure shopping experience – anything from brand new runway collections from Paris to fruits from the South Seas – you can find almost anything your heart desires!

The very first thing on the shopping list (Ni always brings one, Al never does) was of course the beauty department, especially Diptyque. I just wanted to refresh my supply of Eau de Toilettes. Since I already have a couple of products by Diptyque, such as their amazing scented candles (like the Rosafolia-Kerze) and one of the best hand creams, I felt like it was time to try something new.

Meine Wahl fiel auf das Eau de Toilette von Diptyque, Eau Moheli! Ich bin schwer begeistert von dem wirklich sehr orientalischen Duft!

Auf Mohéli, der kleinsten Insel der Komoren, wächst die süßeste aller Blumen. Die gelbe, wild wachsende Ylang-Ylang Blüte spielt die Hauptrolle in Eau Moheli, dem neuesten Duft von Diptyque. Die Einflüsse Indiens, Afrikas und des Orients werden in Eau Moheli spürbar.

On Mohéli, the smallest island of the Comoros, grows the sweetest of all flowers. The yellow, wild growing Ylang-Ylang blossom is the foundation of Eau Moheli, the brand new scent of Diptyque. You can really feel the influence of India, Africa and the Orient in Eau Moheli.

Ich entschied mich für den Roll-on, da er nicht nur optisch ein Hingucker ist, sondern auch sehr praktisch und in die kleinste Handtasche passt!

I decided to go for the roll-on, not only because it looks very cool, but also because it’s really practical and will fit into almost any handbag!

Komponiert aus den warmen Noten von Ylang-Ylang und würzigem Rosa Pfeffer wird der Duft durch Hölzer und balsamische Noten abgerundet, um sich dann mit Patchouli, Vetiver, Benzoeharz und Tonkabohnen zu einem sinnlichen Duft voller Exotic und Wärme zu verbinden.

Composed of warm Ylang-Ylang fragrance and aromatic pink pepper, wood and balsamic scents round off the experience which is then combined with patchouli, vetiver, benjamin and tonka beans to form a truly sensual flavour full of exotic and warm feelings.

Ich finde, dass der herrlich orientalische Duft sehr, sehr lange anhält. Ich trage ihn gerne in der Armbeuge oder wenn ich einen Rock oder ein Kleid trage auch in der Kniekehle. Noch Stunden danach umgibt mich ein sanfter Hauch von Eau Moheli.

In my opinion the beautifully oriental scent lasts for quite a long time. I like to wear it on the inside of my arm or, while wearing a skirt or a dress, in the hollow of the knee. Even hours after applying it I can still sense a gentle whiff of Eau Moheli.
