Vergangene Woche hatte ich das Vergnügen, einen Tag im Waldviertel zu verbringen. Leider hat uns das Wetter einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht, wir hatten total miesen Nieselregen und nur 4 Grad. Aber so war es nun einmal, obwohl ich schon ziemlich viel rumgezickt habe und damit meinem Mister auch keine gute Laune beschert habe. Die Fahrt nach Litschau dauerte sehr lange, wir saßen an diesem Tag insgesamt vier Stunden im Auto und ich hatte schon so meine Bedenken, ob mein Outfit diese Reise überstehen wird. Auf der Heimfahrt hielten wir dann an einem kleinen – sehr kleinen – Flughafen und fotografierten dieses Outfit.
Last week I had a chance to spend a day in Waldviertel. Unfortunately the weather was not quite perfect, there was a light drizzle at only about 4°C. But that’s the way it was, even though I did grouch a lot, making my mister a little unhappy. The drive up to Litschau took quite a while, in total we spent about four hours in the car that day, I was worried that my outfit would not make it through all this. On our way home we stopped at a small – very small – airport and shot this outfit.

Zweimal im Jahr wird bei meinem Mister und mir ordentlich entrümpelt. Im Zuge dessen habe ich meine Bootcut Jeans wieder entdeckt. Ich habe sie schon sehr vermisst und jetzt endlich wieder gefunden, hurra! Sie macht so schöne lange Beine, wenn man dazu einen Schuh mit etwas Absatz trägt.
My mister and I go through our closets like that twice a year. While doing so I rediscovered my bootcut jeans. I have been missing it and now I finally have them back, hurray! They make your legs look really long if you wear a nice high heeled shoe with them.
Natürlich musste es wieder eine Bluse mit großer Masche sein. Ich habe sie mir gleich in zwei Farben gekauft. Beige und Altrosa. Normalerweise kaufe ich mir nur eine Bluse mit gleichem Schnitt, aber dieses Mal machte ich eine Ausnahme und habe mir gleich zwei bestellt.
Of course I had to wear a blouse with a big bow again. I bought this one in two different colours. Fawn and dusky pink. Normally I only buy one blouse of a kind but in this case I made an exception and ordered two.
Mein Mantel, ebenfalls eine neue Errungenschaft, mit dem Gürtel in der Hüfte geknotet, verleiht dem Look einen lässigen Touch! Ich wollte mir schon immer einen etwas wärmeren Übergangsmantel anschaffen, habe aber nie das Passende gefunden. Nun habe ich im Sale dann doch noch dieses gute Stück ergattert.
My coat, a new acquisition as well, with the belt tied around the hip, gives this look a casual touch! I have always wanted a slightly warmer transitory coat but I never really found a nice one. Now, finally, I found this lovely piece during sale.
Ergänzt habe ich das Outfit mit einer wunderbaren Ledertasche von & Other Stories und schwarzen Stiefeln. Die Tasche habe ich schon lange im Visier und wollte sie mir eigentlich schon vor ein paar Wochen online bestellen. Ich war mir aber etwas unsicher und so habe ich mir das gute Stück in New York angesehen.
I complemented the outfit with a beautiful leather bag by & Other Stories and a pair of black boots. The bag has been on my radar for a while, I actually wanted to order it a few weeks ago. I wasn’t quite sure though and so I checked it out while I was in New York.
Man glaubt es kaum, aber da gibt es tatsächlich drei Geschäfte der H&M Gruppe, nur leider sehr teuer. Klar, ist auch ein europäisches Label. So habe ich mir dann schlussendlich die Tasche im Online-Shop bestellt. Sie ist aus glattem Leder, hat zwei kleine Fächer und einen langen Schulterriemen.
It’s hard to believe, there are actually three stores of the H&M group in the city but they are expensive. Of course, it’s a European label. In the end I decided to order it online. It’s made of smooth leather, has two little pockets and comes with a long shoulder strap.
