Endlich gibt es Schnee, sogar viel Schnee und wirklich sehr kalte Temperaturen. Wir beide freuen uns, dass endlich der Winter in unserem schönen Österreich angekommen ist.
Finally we had snow, a lot of snow in fact and very cold temperatures along with it. The two of us were quite happy that winter had arrived in the country of Austria.
Mit den kalten Temperaturen kommt aber auch leider die trockene Haut an. Gesicht, Lippen, Hände und Füße, man hat das Gefühl irgendwie auszutrocknen.
Unfortunately, with cold temperatures our skin starts to suffer. Face, lips, hands and feet, you feel like the skin all over your body is drying up.
In dieser Zeit sollte man besonders viel Flüssigkeit zu sich nehmen, für uns beide ist das kein Problem, da wir am Tag zwischen zwei und drei Liter in uns hinein schütten, Kaffee zählt übrigens nicht dazu.
During that time of the year, it is very important to stay hydrated, which, for us, is not a problem. We drink about two to three liters every day, not counting coffee.
So nun kommen wir zum Wesentlichen, unsere Haut. Es gibt unzählige Produkte, aber wirklich reichhaltige, die unsere Haut gut versorgen gibt es leider nur sehr wenige. Ihr könnt uns glauben, wir testen wirklich Vieles, aber so richtig überzeugen konnten uns nur wenige Cremen und Lotionen. Wir haben nun für Euch einen kleinen Schlitten mit verschiedensten Erzeugnissen zusammengestellt und diese auf längere Zeit getestet.
But let us now come to the point – our skin. There is a huge range of products out there, but to find one which will take good care of our skin is actually quite tough. You can take our word for it, we’ve checked out a lot and there were only a handful of creams and lotions that really satisfied us. With those products we enjoyed, we put together this little sled full of goodies and tested them over an extended period of time.
- Benecos natural care – Bio Handcreme: völlig geruchlos und angeblich pflegend, hat uns aber nicht wirklich überzeugt, ist jedoch nur mit biologischen und natürlichen Inhaltsstoffen.
- Zoya goes pretty – Shea & Rose Körperbutter: leichter Rosenduft, versorgt die Haut den ganzen Tag, klebt jedoch sehr stark und lässt sich auch schlecht auftragen. Eine andere Sorte haben wir Euch bereits vorgestellt: Natürliche Körperbutter von ZOYA GOES PRETTY !
- Diptyque – Eau Rose: Körpermilch, toller Rosenduft, zieht schnell ein, klebt nicht.
- Diptyque – Eau Rose: Handcreme, duftet herrlich nach Rosen und pflegt die Hände sehr gut und ausreichend. Die Produkte von Diptyque haben wir Euch bereits vorgestellt: DIPTYQUE Paris.
- Lancôme – Nutrix Lèvres: Lippenbalsam, der von uns die Bestnote erhält. Er pflegt die Lippen bei Minusgraden ausreichend, ich konnte ihn im vergangenen März in New York bei Dauerfrost eine Woche lang testen. Leider enthält er ein paar umstrittene Inhaltsstoffe – Genaueres könnt Ihr hier nachlesen.
- Dr. Hauschka – Melissen Tagescreme: duftet wunderbar nach Melisse, gibt dem Gesicht ausreichend und vor allem sehr lange Feuchtigkeit. Erhältlich bei Douglas;
- HASK – Nourishing Shine Hair Oil: Pflegt das trockene Haar, macht es herrlich geschmeidig und duftet nach Kokos. Produkte von HASK haben wir Euch bereits vorgestellt: “HASK” Argan Öl aus Marokko.
- Dr. Hauschka – Rosen Duschbalsam: ein angenehm duftendes Duscherlebnis, welches die Haut sehr gut mit Nährstoffen versorgt. Näheres findet Ihr unter Rosen Duschbalsam von Dr. Hauschka.
- Grown Alchemist – Persian Rose & Argan Extract: intensive Handcreme, ein ständiger Begleiter in unserer Handtasche, sehr gut pflegend und himmlisch duftend. Die Produkte von Grown Alchemist haben wir Euch bereits vorgestellt: GROWN ALCHEMIST – Intensive Hydra-Body Set.
- Diptyque – Baume généreux pour les mains: luxuriöser Handbalsam, hier vergeben wir ebenfalls wieder die Bestnote. Ausreichende und langanhaltende Pflege! Wir verwenden den Balsam sehr gerne vor dem Schlafen gehen, morgens sind die Hände butterweich. Ein sehr dezenter Mandelgeruch macht dieses tolle Produkt zu einem unserer wichtigsten Pflegehelfer im Winter.
- Benecos natural care – organic hand cream: completely odorless and supposedly nurturing, didn’t completely convince us but it is composed only of natural and organic ingredients.
- Zoya goes pretty – Shea & Rose body butter: slight scent of roses, keeps your skin protected for the day, it is pretty sticky though and somewhat difficult to apply. We already introduced a different one in an earlier post: Natürliche Körperbutter von ZOYA GOES PRETTY !
- Diptyque – Eau Rose: body milk, fantastic scent of roses, it’s absorbed by the skin quickly without leaving it sticky.
- Diptyque – Eau Rose: hand cream, a lovely scent of roses and does a pretty good job at nourishing your hands. We already introduced the range of Diptyque in a former post: DIPTYQUE Paris.
- Lancôme – Nutrix Lèvres: lip balm, for us top-notch. Takes very good care of your lips below freezing, I was able to test it in action last March in New York at constantly frosty temperatures. Unfortunately it contains a few controversial ingredients – if you want to know more, click here.
- Dr. Hauschka – Melissa vanishing cream: beautiful scent of lemon balm, provides your face with moisture for a very long time. Available at Douglas;
- HASK – Nourishing Shine Hair Oil: nourishes the dry hair, makes it beautifully smooth and smells like coconut. For other products by HASK, check out “HASK” Argan Öl aus Marokko.
- Dr. Hauschka – rose shower balm: a pleasantly aromatic shower experience, which supplies the skin with nutrients. For more details see Rosen Duschbalsam von Dr. Hauschka.

- Diptyque – Baume généreux pour les mains: luxurious hand balm, again, for us, top-notch. Adequate and long-lasting care! Use this balm before going to bed, when you wake up, your hands will be beautifully soft. A very discreet scent of almonds makes this balm to one of our favourit little helpers during the cold season.
